One day whilst working for a cleaning company I had a number of complements made to me about the excellent degree of work which I put in to “doing the job right”, which at the time was very pleasing to hear but at the same time dissapointed me due to the fact I had just been and bought the correct cleaning materials which should have been provided by the cleaning company, this was a turning point for me and having decided I could do the job better myself, I put the wheels in motion.
The industrial estate where I was working was a new site, so with different company’s setting up every week I put together a letter and business card and went canvassing.
ASK now has a number of contracts running on that industrial estate, including the company which I cleaned as a employee.
The saying “word of mouth” is to believed as half my contracts have come due to “word of mouth”. This I believe is due to the excellent standards which I like to keep up as a mum and a business, i have a saying i use alot, "you don’t live in a pigsty so why work in one!".
